The past few months have been filled with challenges and late nights, but I am proud to announce that we are finally moved into our new location. The entire IT infrastructure is up and running, leaving only a few things left to accomplish. Today, I will be addressing some issues with our new VoIP provider, as well as training our customer service agents on how to use their new software and equipment. Additionally, there are some changes in Zendesk that the company would like made, such as simplifying ticket routing and editing SLA policies.
Even with not having a day off in quite some time and working a few 20+ hour shifts, I can’t help but be amazed at how much I grew during this IT build. From the early days of designing the new layout of the building to testing the functionality of each PC before our ‘go live’ date, I learned far more with this project than during my entire college experience. I am sure I will be referring to my involvement in this build far into the future.
As the days go on, there is still a lot of work to do; however, I hope I will be able to get back to working on my websites soon.
